  • 1.  1930 Switch shows offline even when APs connected to switch show as online

    Have a 1930 48G PoE switch running 2.9.1.  The switch is showing as "offline" for the past couple of hours. 

    Network is as follows: Internet -> Firewall -> (LAN) Switch -> 4 APs. 

    All 4 APs show as online. 

    Able to access the WAN interface of the FW remotely.  From the FW, I can ping the internal IP of the switch.  FW is not blocking traffic to the Aruba Instant On portal- APs are all online.

    If the switch was down, then surely the APs would be down.  Moreover, if there was an issue with the Internet, I would be unable to access the FW remotely.

    Could there be an issue with with the Instant On service?  Something else?

    I have the same issue today. Can't recommend to reboot the affected switch since afterwards all other connected devices inherit the same issue.

    @Aruba staff: Is there a known issue with the AIO backend?

    I have the same issue today with a 1930 10 port PoE switch.

    Can't recommend to reboot the affected device, since when I did it, all the other connected devices inherited the same issue. Network and internet connection still work flawlessly though.

    @Aruba staff: Is there a known issue with the AIO backend today?

    All 6 of my devices are showing the same. Reboots didn't resolve anything yet everything remains functional and see attempts to connect egressing the firewall.

    All 6 of mine show the same. Reboots didn't resolve but connectivity is fine.
