Everything Instant On

AP27 Mesh AP - powered via PoE injector .  An obvious requirement in outdoor scenarios as it is often far more convenient to cable a CAT5 vs power cable to the AP.

I understand that AP27 cannot serve as downlink but I assume I can simply power the AP27 with a cat5 cable where no local power is available ?

Also, I have had no response to my other query:

I just want to add , I have tested this with my own AP11 using PoE injector on power only , no data ethernet cable connected.   After around 10mins the AP is flashing Amber/Green BUT when I go add device it never comes up!   

If I onboard it with a PSU and then after onboarding , simply remove the PSU and power it with PoE injector , will that work (because the AP is now configured in mesh mode ?

OK so I rebooted the AP11 on PoE injector (no data) after around 10 mins it went to discovery mode and I was able to add it.  I assume AP27 will function the same way.
