    There is a request for all guest users to input a predefined password, and the Wi-Fi will disconnect after a 20-minute session. Guests need to reconnect to the guest Wi-Fi to continue using it.

    I have searched for documentation and installed Ubuntu 24.04, setting up DaloRadius. I can log into DaloRadius and the HP Instant On portal, but I am unclear about how to configure DaloRadius to use the same password for all guest users and to set the session duration to 20 minutes.

    Additionally, I need guidance on configuring the Instant On portal to connect to DaloRadius. Do I need to set up all Wi-Fi access points in DaloRadius?

    Could you please advise on the necessary steps? Thank you very much!

    Just to clarify...is there ine common guest credential (username/password) that all guest users will use, or does each guest user get their own individual credentials?

    Just seems confusing if all guest users have theirnown individual usernames but they all use the same password, so I wanted to get it clear.

    There is a guest Wi-Fi SSID for all guests, which uses the same username and password. I have already set up FreeRADIUS and the DaloRADIUS GUI under Ubuntu 24. It seems that an external captive portal with a RADIUS server is needed, and I have no idea how to configure this setup.

    I tried both FreeRADIUS and Windows 2012 Network Policy and Access Services. Authentication is working fine on both servers, but I cannot disconnect the connected Wi-Fi after the session time, e.g., 30 minutes. Can anyone advise?

    For this you need to track how long a specific user is connected to the network. When reauthentication period forces user to reauthenticate, you then check if this user still has time left or need to be denied. 

    RADIUS server itself does not have this functionality. It can just setup connection properties and track accounting. 

    You will need external portal like SkyFii (now Beonic) or similar to do it.

    Unfortunately Facebook was discontinued Facebook WiFi.
