  • 1.  Does HPE publish the IP Addresses that ION switches use to phone home

    Hi Folks,

    Asking there is a published list of ip addresses that HPE provides for the remote endpoints that ION switches phone home to. We are looking to update our firewall policies and it would be great if we had a list of IP Addresses that we could base the policy on.

    Hi Chris,

    We strongly recommend using URLs instead of IP addresses. Below are the official cloud URLs for Aruba Instant On that should be added to the allowed domains list:

    Official Cloud URLs for Instant On:

    1. Onboarding URL: Used by non-configured Instant On devices to connect to the cloud.

    2. Cloud Connect URL: Used by configured Instant On devices to send data to the cloud.

    3. Software Upgrade URL: Used by Instant On devices to download firmware updates.
