ive installed 3x AR22 with a few SSIDs to separate guest network from home, and also create one for children that has blocked access to adult sites etc. I also crested one specifically for smart devices to keep them limited and away from the rest of our kit.
nothing particularly fancy, no vlans, but all networks using NAT.
I came up against a few issues, and I've logged this with support a good 3 weeks however we've not got very far.
iCloud Private Relay - this is now unstable, I get messages all the time, it's working, it's not working, off and on, so I've disabled it. I don't mind it not working, but I'd like to be able to control it, indeed it's something I want to be able to disable on one of the networks.
Next is application monitoring. This a complete mess. I use my iPhone only on SSID 1. I browse the web onto a specific category type and check the software to see what it's logged, and it shows the sites I've visited mostly, but in the devices section it shows they've been visited by a bunch of different devices which it can't possibly be because they are on different networks where this category is actually blocked too. It's driving me insane to the point where I'm tempted to return the kit.
any ideas?
