Instant On 3.0.0.1 AP Software release
The 3.0.0.1 AP Software release will include the following fixes which will supplement some of the issues seen post upgrade of R3.0.0 release and fixes are intended only for the AP Software. All of the below mentioned issues are not systematic, not seen on all sites or by all of our Instant On Customers.
- Wireless performance issue affecting Wi-Fi client performance.
- Wi-Fi client connectivity issues identified with apple and android clients when connecting to Wi-Fi.
- Performance issue seen with few meshed deployment scenarios.
Notes on how the Upgrade will happen
Users will not get any alert on the portal regarding this upgrade, since this is a minor bug fix release.
Only Instant On AP's will get this new software and reboot will occur based on the Site Software maintenance window scheduled for the site.
Alert will be seen on the health dashboard for the AP reboot and the time of the reboot will coincide matching with the Software maintenance window time set for the site.
Note : For those sites which are delayed for upgrade and still running R2.9.1 Software will directly upgrade to this new R3.0.0.1 AP software along with regular R3.0.0 software upgrade.
