Maybe... but in my case, we are using WPA2, no multicast traffict and no network loop (verified), and nothing is working as it should be.
I don't think that the affected users are complaining for pleasure, and I don't see it as justifiable that we should limit the capabilities of the hardware for it to "more or less" work.
As end users we cannot know what exactly is wrong (maybe it only affects certain serial numbers?), but it is clear that the response from HP Aruba is not being adequate.

There's people with ~150 sites where everything is okay.
Reddit
But as you can read, your issues might be related to either STP/meshing, multicast traffic or WPA3.

Yesterday evening I had to restart all APs (all AP22) at one location - virtually nothing worked anymore. Software version 3.0.0.2 is running on all APs. The health status was down to 75%. Some devices - including my iPhone - were still connected to the WLAN, but no more data was passing through - even the backend of the local firewall was no longer accessible. Everything was fine via network cable. Since I restarted the APs via the app, everything has been working again. I have now had this exact situation several times at four out of seven locations. The 3rd version of the software should never have been released like this - and there isn't even the option to roll it back. I've already got myself into real trouble here with family, friends and customers because of this disastrous software. From now on, I'm giving HPE Networking Instant On / Aruba Instant On a wide berth.

Update to 3.0.0.2 didn't help at all... Same problems, 2.4Ghz wireless is still unusable and 5Ghz poor performance and disruptions.
We have a domestic TP-Link solution in parallel which outperforms our Arubas (They were to be replaced by the Arubas Ap22, but since August it was impossible to switch between systems)
If HP Aruba doesn't provide a solution soon, we will switch to Unifi deffinitely. For us, as worriing are the software bugs as the sluggish response from HP Aruba.

I agree with the comment about not being able to rollback to a previous release. I find it frustrating when I can't rollback a software product.
My upgrade to 3.0 required power cycling some devices to get them back online. 3.0.0.2 did not require this (maybe because it didn't include any switches?) and I am not experiencing any new issues. "Knock on wood."
I've been struggling to figure out some health and signal strength issues. (New customer here, moved over from Ubiquiti UniFi.) Over the weekend I changed all of my APs to use specific radio settings. I have 2 AP22Ds, 2 AP25s and 2 AP27s, and 3 switches. I choose the best 2.4 GHz channels based on adjacency to each other and my neighbors and lowered the power settings to the minimum maximum setting that showed good client signal quality. My health is now up to 95-98%. I recommend checking your radio settings. Just try lowering max power settings and see what effect it has. I definitely had some funky things going on before lowering my power setting. This is an easy one to test. The results may help you determine what's going on.
