  • 1.  VLAN config at downstream Port AP22D

    Hello,

    we are planning around 20 pieces of Instant ON AP22D for a project.
    Each access point should provide PoE and network connectivity for an additional device.
    802.af is sufficient. Is it possible to transmit a VLAN that is not used for managing access points and Wi-Fi as untagged traffic on this downstream port? It is, of course, tagged at the access point's upstream port.

    Hi Josef Kranzer,

    This configuration is supported. The AP22D can provide PoE, and you can assign a dedicated VLAN to the front port. Ensure the AP is powered with at least 802.3at (PoE+) on the uplink to enable PoE.
