  • 1.  Wireless Smart Mesh with AP15?

    Hi,

    Is it possible to join an AP15 to a Wi-Fi Smart Mesh using say and AP32 or AP21?

    I already have an AP15 but I need to reach into an area that currently has no / limited signal. So I was thinking of using Smart Mesh with another AP. Is that possible?

    Hi Colin,

    I'm not sure if I've understood you correctly.
    I have a Wi-Fi network consisting of wired and meshed APs with different models (AP15, AP21, AP22) and it works perfectly. Even the VoIP handover works well.
    A mesh with APs from other manufacturers probably doesn't work.

    Yes it is possible, but APs need to hear each other quite well.
