Hello Gorazd and happy new year!
Thank you very much for the answer.
Yes, indeed the problem was due to spanning tree. On the main switch (Switch 1) this option was not enabled/configured, while on Switches 2 and 3, spanning tree was enabled. After I enabled and configured it on Switch 1, the problem was solved.
Best regards,
Andrei

Did you setup spanning tree correctly? Looks like you get spanning tree transition and most probably spanning tree root is moving betwren switches.

Subject: Aruba Instant On 1830 network goes down for a few seconds when plugging in a cable to the switch
Hello,
I have a problem that I can't fix it. I would be happy if someone could help me.
It is a network consisting of 3 switches:
Switch 1: Aruba Instant On 1830 24G (main Switch)
Switch 2: Aruba Instant On 1930 8G
Switch 3: Aruba Instant On 1830 8G (brand new switch that I want to configure)
You can see the network diagram below.
Switch 1: main switch
Switch 2: connected to switch 1
Switch 3: to be configured connects to switch 2
When I connect switch 3 to switch 2, all clients connected to switch 1 and switch 2 goes in time out, network goes down for a few seconds.
Do you have any idea what the problem could be?
Best regards,
Andrei
