Hi @gorazd
Update:
I've successfully connected our Aruba InstantOn AP22 access points to the Aruba Cloud. The access points were identified as IoT devices in the Quantum Spark 1550 appliance console and had outgoing access restricted to the "IoT_Accepted_Domains" network group.
To resolve this, I added the given URLs to the IoT_Accepted_Domains group and reset the access points, which allowed them to connect to the Aruba Cloud successfully.
Thanks for your help! 😊
Best,
Kirubakaran V

You need to allow following addresses in your firewall for ION to work properly:
Official Cloud URLs for Instant On
The following cloud URLs are officially used in Aruba Instant On to add in the allowed domains list:
- Onboarding URL used by non-configured Instant On device to reach the cloud: https://onboarding.portal.arubainstanton.com/
- Cloud Connect URL used by configured Instant On devices to send data to the cloud: https://iot.portal.arubainstanton.com
- Software Upgrade URL is used by Instant On devices to get their firmware: https://downloads.portal.arubainstanton.com

Subject: Aruba Instant On AP22 Access Point - State changed to offline post Firewall configuration
Hello All,
New to Aruba InstantOn, we have two "Aruba Instant On AP22 Access Point" devices setup and working fine. A week ago we setup Firewall and this is how our network architecture is, ISP > Firewall > Aruba Network switch > LAN & Access Points. After the Firewall setup our AP's shows Active but went offline (Attached picture). It continues broadcasting SSID's and we are able to connect without any issues but connected devices now shows only in the Firewall console not the Aruba Instant On Portal.
Is this behavior normal since we setup the Firewall on top of Network switch & Access points?
