Everything Instant On

What would be my question, are the APS 505 compatible with the Istant On Cloud? Can I join my APS 505 on Istant ON?

AP-505 is not compatible with Instant On Cloud..  The AP-505 can be managed with either virtual controller on the device; called Aruba instant, or with Aruba Central cloud subsciption, but not with Aruba Instant On cloud...     I agree that It is a bit confusing because they used "Instant On"  branding when there was already a brand called "Instant"

Although the products are based on the same hardware (sometimes slight differences in terms of network ports and mount kits), the software is different and not interchangeable. There is no way to install the Aruba InstantOn operating system to the regular Aruba AP (eg your AP-505), not speaking of any weird black magic way.
You need to exchange your hardware to InstantOn if your really want to change. But please note: the InstantOn APs have a completely different, simplyfied feature set. They are cool devices but targeted to home or SMB use, so the feature set is also reduced. Better buy a test device to be sure all your functions are supported.
