  • 1.  Update the Mobile Application

    Hi,

    I keep getting the message that the app running on my iPhone is out of date and to go to the App Store and get the latest version. It loops back to the application on my phone without a chance to update the software. What am I doing wrong?

    Before doing troubleshooting/changes on your device you may want to do a backup if you have not done so already.

    Also, have you tried fully uninstalling the app, rebooting your phone and then reinstalling the app?

    Be sure to check if your OS is up to date by going to Settings->General->Software Update. iOS 26.4.2 was just released recently.

    To update your apps after the OS update go to App Store->tap your Apple Account in the upper right corner (looks like a circle)->App Updates then swipe down on the list far enough that a spinning wheel starts. Try swiping down a few times (sometimes it doesn't load properly). Then tap update for the apps you want to update.
