  • 1.  1830 - JL813A model PoE issues on multiple units

    Hi

    So over the last year or so, we have installed some 200 units of JL813A on different locations across europe.

    And out of those 200, we have so far this year had 20 units (another 3 today) failing with PoE Fault on all ports.

    The power budget is in no way maxed out, as we use between 3,5 and 33W max for AP's and Footfall counters.

    We don't see any pattern in why this is happening. No power outages or anything. 

    Have any of you had any experience with this issue?

    We have RMA'ed a bunch of them. But Aruba support is.. Well, not that effective.

    I've registered to say we're seeing the same, one unit just had its POE die for no reason - POE Fault

    Same thing happened again today, with another switch. For no apparent reason

    There is no pattern to this issue.
