    Hi everyone,

I am really new to networking so apologies in advance for any lack of crucial information or simplicity of the question.
I was tasked to restructure an SMB network to accommodate their recent willingness to go for VoIP instead of traditional phones.
I have to build everything from the ground up so I have been given a blank slate to make the network infrastructure.

My idea was was to purchase two Aruba instant on switches from the 1830 series (both 24 ports).

The diagram below extremely simplifies the mapping I would like to do for this office i.e. to have different VLANs for VoIP, AP, and Workstations.
In reality the first switch would connect 6 PC, 1 printer, 1 AP and 1 VoIP (possibly 5 total VoIP in the future) while the second switch would connect 3 pc, 1 printer, 1 AP and 1 VoIP (possibly 3 total VoIP in the future)
The cables going to the VoIP phones would be PoE.
They have a static IP address

My question is the following: What is the most optimal way to connect the two switches?
(The switches are distant 15 -20 m from each others)

Again I am very new to this but my only concern is to keep VLANs separate so that VoIP is as good as possible.
Step by step guide would be amazing but anything is much appreciated
Thank you so much in advance
