Hi,
I have 8x Aruba 1960 Switches. These have been setup as 2x Stacks. Stack Members are joined via ports 25/26 with CAT6.
Stacks are joined via Port 24 on the Master of each Stack. Firmware on all devices is 3.1.0, this was updated 3rd Jan.
These have been in place for almost a month and performing mostly without issue.
On Wednesday evening, issues began in the form of brief network disconnects to mapped drives and RemoteApps.
By Thursday, issues were so frequent, most users could not work getting disconnected and reconnected every couple of minutes.
Worth noting, nobody seemed to get fully "disconnected" from the network, their ethernets stayed up on their devices.
I have been running continuous pings, and the most reliable has been pinging master switches over VPN.
Most pings which drop seem to be between devices and host servers or VMs.
I have a simple iDrac for the server sitting on Stack 1 Switch 3 port 24.
When I Ping this over VPN I am able to retain a perfect ping test.
However, for host server within the network I am not getting that same result.
For example, when I via VPN lose connectivity to a VM, the Host Server also loses access to iDrac.
This particular Host Server is sitting on Stack 1 Switch 3 using ports 19, 20, 21, 22.
So essentially I am stumped. Any comments or guidance on where to look for logs etc. would be appreciated.
I am new to Aruba gear so getting a bit lost.
I also tried the suggestions posted here: ports going down and up | Instant On - Wired
Thanks!
