  • 1.  Problem adding AP to new site

    Hi, 

    I removed an AP12 from one site and tried to add it to a new one, but I keep getting the message: "Located on a network used by another site." I double-checked and confirmed the device was removed from the original site. I even re-added it to the old site, removed it again, and did a hard reset on the AP, but the issue still persists.
     
    Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Hi,

    Instant On is designed to support only one site per Layer 2 (L2) subnet. This is why you are seeing the message: "Located on a network used by another site." To resolve this, move the device to a different subnet, and you should be able to create a new site successfully.
