Instant On - Wireless

We have around 50 AP515s setup today, and they are all joined together in a virtual controller.

We have a few meeting rooms where we want to provide better coverage, and we have been looking into AP22D.

will that AccessPoint be able to join in, on the virtual controller? Im unsure because all the material talk about Cloud Management, and we prefer not to use Aruba Central on the Devices.

No, Instant On is not compatible to HPE Instant or their virtual controllers.
You need to look into HPE Aruba 500H Series Access Points, they're the equivalent to AIO AP22D:

These you can add to your virtual controller.
