Hello community,
I've discovered a strange behaviour when I try to disable PoE power delivery to one of my wi-fi access points connected to a Instant On 48G PoE Switch Model JL686A. I have two identical Ubiquiti U6 Pro Access Points connected to interface 1 and 42 of the switch. Hardware Address (MAC) of both devices differs only in two bit:
After rebooting the switch the PoE status looks like expected. 5 to 6 Watts are delivered to each device:

When I disable Admin Mode on either one of the ports the access points are connected to, both(!) access points stay powered. For example, if I disable Admin Mode on Port 1, PoE status looks like this:

Interface 1 is shown as disabled, although the connected device is still powered up. Power delivered by interface 42 is now ~12 Watts, which is roughly twice of the power delivered when PoE as enabled on interface 1.
After reenabling PoE Admin Mode on interface 1 again, status looks like this. PoE Status remains in state Searching while interface 42 still delivers ~ 12 Watts:

Same happens to interface 1 if I disable PoE on interface 42 (or any other combination of two interfaces): both interfaces deliver power and sum of power is stated for interface 1, while PoE status of interface 42 changes to Disabled.
Only chance to power down interface 1 is to disable interface 42 as well, but then I have no individual power control over my access points.
Both access points are connected via regular Cat. 6a patch cables to the switch. I have updated the switch to latest firmware version 2.7.0 und performed a factory reset.
Does anyone have an idea, whats going on here?
Kind Regards,
Norman
