Hi,
just wanted to know if I got this right; I have set up a VLAN 43 and it's working on my *main* switch (JL558A) and connected devices. Now there's a wired device connected to a *second* switch (JL811A) that should also use the mentioned VLAN 43.
- On the *main* switch I've set the port that has a wired connection to the *second* switch with [TAG 43]
- On the *second* switch I've set the port that has a wired connection to device with [UN-TAG 43] (.. as it's the only one connected to the port)
Reason I'm asking is because I can see on the *second* switch that a device is using PoE, but no matter what I do, I can't connect to it - so I thought I did something wrong with the VLAN setup.
